Every month the KickStarter program holds meetings with HSI Community Colleges who are in KickStarter Cohorts.  This meeting had a guest speaker, John Aguilar, Executive Director of Legislative Affairs, from the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU).  John shared information about HSIs, their numbers and funding over the years,  federal funding for fiscal year 2019, NSF's HSI program and a new area of funding that HACU is advocating for PK-12 Hispanic Serving School Districts (HSSD) partnerships with HSIs.
