How ATE PIs at Hispanic Serving Institutions Engage Hispanic Students in Technician Programs

This recording from the 2019 ATE PI conference features three ATE PIs from Hispanic Serving Institutions who share their experiences in working with Hispanic students in their ATE projects. 

This resource is useful to anyone who wants to learn about techniques for engaging Hispanic students in technician programs. 

 Diego Tibaquira, from Miami Dade College in Florida, discusses his Cybersecurity project and how it is impacting students and faculty.   Chander Arora from Los Angeles Mission College in California shares the biotech program and its emphasis on transitioning students into the workforce or 4-year degree programs.   Ronnie Brannon from Palo Alto College in Texas talks about Supply Chain and Distribution  and recruitment of local high school students.
