Promoting Employability Skills

This Stanford Research Institute (SRI) website showcases findings from a multi-year research project, Promoting the Development of STEM Tech Employability Skills: A Review of Practices and Needs in the ATE Community, led by SRI Education and funded by the National Science Foundation. 

Resources available on the website include the Working Stronger and Smarter handbook (PDF) which describes the research findings and resources for for developing employability skills among technicians. Also available are video and slides from a webinar on Targeted Coaching Skills for Instructors Preparing a Diverse Technician Workforce.
