Evaluation Basics for Non-Evaluators Video 1: What is evaluation?
This short video introduces the concept of evaluation through four steps: asking important questions, gathering evidence, interpreting findings, and reporting and using results. This is part one of a six-part video series that is based on a live webinar EvaluATE presented in partnership with Mentor-Connect in March 2018. The series provides a basic orientation to evaluation for individuals who are planning to submit proposals to the National Science Foundation’s Advanced Technological Education program. Each video addresses one of six questions about evaluation often asked by individuals who are new to evaluation and the ATE program.
